Clemson University expands Spiro Sessions business management program to the LowcountryFebruary 7, 2017

Related Information

Leaders of small to mid-sized companies across the Lowcountry will now have the opportunity to learn proven best practices and contemporary business principles behind success by enrolling in Clemson University’s Spiro Sessions, a non-degree professional development program. Each of eight evening sessions will be available at both the Lowcountry Graduate Center in North Charleston and Clemson University’s MBA campus in downtown Greenville starting in March 2017.

This professional development program is facilitated by the McNair Law Firm and draws on the experiences of business leaders and community professionals as panelists apply proven knowledge – and today’s technology – as living case studies to stimulate discussion among class participants.

“Participants in this program form a core network of entrepreneurs who want to make a high impact in our local business community,” said Nan Johnston, director of the Clemson University Center for Corporate Learning. “We are thrilled to be able to expand this opportunity into the Lowcountry, enabling anyone throughout our state to access either location within a 2-hour drive.”

The Spiro Sessions, formerly known as Go Spiro, serves as a convenient alternative to formal graduate degree study. Participants who complete the 8-week sessions will receive a Certificate of Completion from Clemson University’s Spiro Institute for Entrepreneurial Leadership.
