McNair Law Firm is pleased to announce that shareholder O. Wayne Corley has been elected to the University of South Carolina Board of Visitors. He will serve a three-year term.

The Board of Visitors assists the President and University of South Carolina in the overall advancement of the University, and serve as ambassadors for the University across the state and beyond. The Board of Visitors seeks to “enhance the image of the University and the statewide system, encourage alumni participation, invite public and private support, and facilitate internal and external communication.”

A native of Lexington, Wayne received both his law and undergraduate degrees from the University of South Carolina. He joined McNair Law Firm at its inception, and has since built a robust public finance practice, serving as counsel in the issuance of more than $34 billion in bond financings. In addition to his latest appointment, Wayne has served in various leadership roles for numerous civic and business organizations, including the University of South Carolina Law School Partnership, the South Carolina Educational Television Endowment, the Midlands Business Leadership Group, the South Carolina State Museum Foundation, the Bank of America of the Carolinas Advisory Board and the Palmetto Health Foundation Alliance.
