The McNair Law Firm has committed to endow a scholarship at the University of South Carolina Beaufort to commemorate Clementa Pinckney’s leadership, which was first recognized locally and expanded across the Lowcountry and then across our state. Senator Pinckney’s roots in Beaufort and Jasper Counties and his commitment to education have led the Beaufort-Jasper Higher Education Commission to make a financial commitment to the scholarship initiative.
