Join Melissa Azallion of McNair Law Firm, P.A. as she presents "Worksite Enforcement and Immigration - What You Need to Know in 2015" on June 8 from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm at the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce.

This session will address the current trends in immigration worksite enforcement at both the state and federal levels. The discussion will include:

  • Compliance tips and strategies for successfully conducting I-9 self-audits;
  • Managing the I-9 and E-Verify process;
  • Recent activity by the U.S. Department of Justice regarding penalizing employers for I-9 document abuse;
  • Status of Obama's Executive Action programs (DACA/DAPA); and
  • Evolving workplace trends such as remote hires, electronic I-9 systems, and inter-agency data sharing that will likely impact employers and their employees
