McNair Law Firm is pleased to announce that shareholder Ned Johnson has been appointed to the Medical University of South Carolina’s (MUSC) Board of Visitors.

Board members are nominated by the trustees of the university to serve as ambassadors in their respective regions, working to communicate the services and goals of MUSC to the citizens that it serves.  The Board of Visitors is dedicated to raising the standards of health and education in the state of South Carolina.

Ned practices in McNair’s Columbia office, with a focus on labor law and employment relations.  His service to the community extends far beyond his 39 years in law. Ned has been deeply involved in leadership roles at the state and local levels.  In addition to his newest role on the Board of Visitors, Ned serves as secretary of the Palmetto Business Forum.  He has served on the executive committee and board of the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce, as well as on the boards of the Palmetto Project and the South Carolina Governor’s School for Science and Mathematics Foundation.
