These claims are expensive to defend, and can result in substantial liability in the form of unpaid overtime for up to three years, liquidated damages, and attorneys' fees.

• Requirements of the Executive, Administrative, Professional, Computer, and Outside Sales exemptions;
• How to ensure that exempt employees are paid on a "salary basis" or "fee basis", as required by the FLSA;
• When you can and cannot take deductions from employees' salaries;
• How to ensure your PTO/paid leave program complies with the FLSA's requirements; and
