Three McNair attorneys have been selected by peer review for inclusion in the Greenville Business Magazine's 2012 Legal Elite of the Upstate. Shareholders Weyman Carter and Phil Conner, and Associate Hunter Freeman were among those recognized for their leadership in law.

Weyman was recognized for his practice in Bankruptcy and Creditor Rights Law, Phil for his practice in Environmental Law and Hunter for his practice in Intellectual Property Law.

The magazine conducted its first-ever poll to see who out of approximately 850 lawyers in the Greater Greenville area would be selected by their fellow colleagues as the best among 20 practice areas. Lawyers could nominate others within their firms, but for each in-firm lawyer nomination, an out-of-firm lawyer had to be nominated.
