Reggie Gay, a Shareholder of McNair's Employment and Labor Practice Group, was quoted in an article in the Columbia Business Monthly that focused on the issue of job applicants lying on resumes and job applications.

In the article written by Mike DuBose and Blake DuBose and featured in the July 2012 issue of Greater Columbia Business Monthly, Reggie suggested, "the application should contain language along the lines of ‘all information is truthful and complete and any falsification, misrepresentation, or omission of information may result in denial of employment or immediate termination, regardless of when or how the information is discovered’ and should be signed by the applicant. If you subsequently discover the applicant provided false information, you can generally rescind the offer.”
