Overview

Sid Boone practices in the Real Estate section, representing developers. Areas of focus include land acquisition of large tracts and development related matters including annexation, rezoning, development agreements, variances, and special exceptions. Other transactions include drafting restrictive covenants, property owners' associations and assistance with obtaining all permits for development. Sid also has an active practice in preparation of condominium documents and condominium conversions.

Sid has represented clients from start to finish on large projects, one of which has been under development and is now in its final phase. He has learned that entitlement of projects and obtaining vested rights is becoming more and more difficult in the electronic age. The opposition groups use the internet to mount offensive campaigns against the development. His major projects have included the acquisition of numerous parcels to create a town center in Mount Pleasant of over 500,000 square feet and the development of large scale residential communities as well as the acquisition of land which will include light industrial, economic development and residential development.
